As I meditated I got so much inspired to pay this tribute to the Church.
The Church of God,
beloved by God,
bought and sanctified by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Sown in the earth like a mustard seed.
In her growth over the years and ages
She has been resisted, persecuted, suppressed and sometimes pushed to the point where it seems it will be go into extinction.
But like a strong and new spring, she bounces back in full force and grows sporadically and amazingly across the globe to the utter amazement and shame of her oppressors.
Her resistors, persecutors and oppressors are no more, but the Church is still alive, strong and growing exceedingly great.
Oh the Church of God,
Faced and rocked within herself with the issues of bitterness, jealousy, strife, competition, gossip and slander,
Yet she is still pruned by God to be an instrument to reach the world with the unchanging gospel of salvation, healing and deliverance.
KINGDOMS RISE AND WANE; PERSONALITIES, AND CRISIS COME AND GO;
BUT THE CHURCH OF JESUS CONSTANT WILL REMAIN.
